Program Curriculum

The program’s orientation is bio-psychosocial, and our faculty provides a balanced vision of psychodynamic and psychopharmacological approaches. Our curriculum prepares our fellows to be competent and versatile and able to work in both rural settings as well as complex medical communities in urban settings. The first-year experience is primarily inpatient and supplemented by outpatient evaluations and short and long term psychotherapy at the child psychiatry outpatient clinics. The second-year is primarily spent in outpatient work at the child psychiatry outpatient clinics and in consultative services to a variety of different settings.
